The following check list and summary of activities will help you get the best experience from the event –

Friday 24 June

Durham Cathedral visit: As it is not possible for group visits over the weekend, we have arranged a special mid-afternoon guided tour of this majestic cathedral. The present building begun in 1093 as a Benedictine priory being one of the country’s most iconic sights. The charge is £6.50 per person payable on the day but you do need to register your interest in advance by email to the club’s Event Co-ordinator f.whitefoot@btinternet.com

Welcome Dinner: Meet old and new friends in an informal atmosphere in the Radisson Blu hotel restaurant. Pre-dinner drinks courtesy of Car Facts Disc.

Saturday 25 June

Mogfest at Beamish Museum: Step back in time at this world-famous open-air museum telling the story of life in North East England during the 1820’s, 1900’s, 1940’s and 1950’s. Club Concours Competition supported by Finch Insurance Brokers, Historic Register Display plus Entertainment by the award winning Bearpark & Esh Colliery Band.

Annual Dinner at Radisson Blu Durham: An entertaining evening with special guest speaker Perry McCarthy – the original secret racing driver ‘The Stig’ from BBC TV’s Top Gear and a Disco. Dress Code: Smart Casual.

Sunday 26 June

Historic Durham Walking Tour: Delve into the history and heritage of Durham City with a Blue Badge guide as you walk through the fascinating medieval streets. Departing from Radisson Blu hotel.

Scenic Drive and Bowes Museum: Enjoy a drive out to Barnard Castle and a guided tour of the unique Bowes Museum. Enjoy the collection of art, fashion and design, displayed over three floors of this magnificent French styled building set in its own park and gardens. Route developed by Normog centre.

Please remember that you must display the provided Club Motul /Mogfest car hanger prominently in your windscreen to gain access to all Mogfest reserved parking sites.
