Donington Historic Festival 2026

Morgan Sports Car Club at the 2026 Donington Historic Festival

The Donington Historic Festival, one of Europe’s premier celebrations of classic motor racing, returns on 1st-3rd May 2026.

We are looking to get a great club presence this year for our anniversary and at £25 per person for three days incl. infield parking by the track it must rank as the best value ever! Plus it is a fantastic event.

The Donington Historic Festival runs from Friday 1st May to Sunday 3rd May 2026 as would be expected at the Donington Circuit just off the M1 between Nottingham and Derby.

There is a full three days of qualifying and racing for all manner of historic vehicles from the early part of the last century to the 1990s. In addition to the on-track action there is an open paddock where visitors can wander and examine some of the most wonderful machinery to grace a race track. For a small extra sum club members on a display ticket may take to the track in lunchtime parades.

MSCC, through Donmog, has secured a club package which includes infield parking - hopefully in our usual spot by the Roberts Chicane and within a couple of yards of the track.

This show must be the best value in motorsport, as those coming in a Morgan can apply for a club display ticket which includes the infield parking in the MSCC reserved area, heavily discounted tickets and a 50% reduction in the usual price of tickets for passengers.

MSCC members can obtain 50% discount on tickets: discounted prices are £9 for the Friday, £16 for the Saturday and £16 for the Sunday. The full weekend ticket comes in at £25 for all three days. Go to the Donington Historic website and book tickets online by the club ticket area. See event discount codes in the Members Area of the website.

MSCC has reserved 20 places for each of the days - but this can be increased if there is demand.

As this is a special year for us with 75 years of the club - when the first meeting was held about two miles away from the track and also the 90th anniversary of the 4/4, it would be good to have a good number of members there. If there are enough of us I may be able to arrange a special parade lap for our cars as it is a special anniversary.

Details of the programme etc. can be found at the Donington Historic website.

It would help with planning and begging a special parade lap if you could let me know if you intend coming. Email - note new address - Philmegan60@outlook.com

Thanks, Phil Royle
