Herriot Trail 2027

An invitation to join the Yorkshire Centre as we once again follow the Herriot Trail through the iconic Yorkshire Dales. The event visits many places familiar to ‘James Herriot’ and the author of the books, Alf Wight; visiting many of the locations used in the All Creatures Great and Small television series.

We will visit The World of James Herriot experience in Thirsk. There, we will be greeted by Rosie Page, Alf Wight’s Daughter. Rosie will also join us for dinner on the second evening where she will talk about James Herriot, her father, and the work of the Herriot Hospice in and around the Yorkshire Dales. Following on from this year’s successful event, we will once again be using the event to support the Herriot Hospice.

EVENT BOOKING DETAILS:

Date: 11th to the 14th May 2027.
Minimum booking is for 3 nights on a B&B basis with two people per room.

Superior £480.00
Large Superior £495.00
30 rooms are available split over two hotels.
Evening meals at the hotels are extra.
