Contributing to Miscellany

Miscellany is at the heart of the Morgan Sports Car Club and thrives on contributions from members across the UK and around the world.

We welcome:

• Event reports
• Scenic tours and travel stories
• Technical articles and tips
• Restoration projects
• Historical features
• Centre news
• Motorsport reports
• Morgan adventures and member experiences
• Photographs from Club events and activities

Whether you are submitting a short write-up or a longer feature article, contributions from members help make Miscellany the varied and engaging publication it is today.

How to Submit an Article

Please send editorial submissions to: mscc.editor@morgansportscarclub.com

Articles can either be:

• attached as a Word document
• or included directly within the body of the email

Please note that submissions by post are no longer accepted.

Editorial Deadlines

The copy deadline for editorial items is the: 7th of the preceding month. Items received after this date may be held over until the following issue.

Submitting Images

Photographs help bring articles to life and are always encouraged. Please:

• send images separately from the article text
• do not embed images within Word documents
• supply images in the highest resolution possible

Preferred image formats:

• JPG / JPEG
• TIFF

Low-resolution images taken from websites or social media may not reproduce well in print.

If your files are too large to email, services such as:

• WeTransfer
• Dropbox
• Google Drive

may be used to transfer files.

A Few Helpful Tips

• Include names, locations, and dates where possible
• Add captions for photographs if relevant
• Keep formatting simple
• Please ensure you have permission to share any photographs submitted

Publication

Publication of submitted material is subject to available space, topicality, and editorial requirements. The Editor reserves the right to edit or shorten submissions where necessary.
