75 Years of MSCC – Celebrating the MSCC’s Competitive Side

As we mark 75 years of the Morgan Sports Car Club, we also celebrate one of the most exciting parts of the Club’s heritage: the MSCC’s competitive driving activities.

From trials to hill climbs, motorsport has always been closely linked with Morgan cars, dating back to the earliest days of the marque. That competitive spirit continues today through the annual Club Championship, where members enjoy friendly competition in their Morgans on circuits and venues across the UK.

The Championship brings together a wide variety of Morgans, from elderly classics to the latest CX models, creating a unique and colourful mix that reflects the diversity of the marque itself.

Members can also develop their driving skills through autosolos and gymkhanas, becoming part of a close-knit motorsport community built around a shared passion for Morgans. For some, the challenge goes even further, with MSCC members competing in the famous Motor Cycle Club trials including the Exeter, Land’s End and Edinburgh trials, with points also counting towards the MSCC Championship.

The separate MSCC Techniques Speed Championship, better known as SpeedMog, consists of sprint and hill climb events held at venues across the British Isles. At each event, cars run individually against the clock, with only one car on track at a time. While the competition can be fierce, the paddock atmosphere remains welcoming and sociable, perfectly reflecting the spirit of the Club.

Whether you are a spectator, an experienced competitor, or simply curious about getting involved, the MSCC offers an exciting range of competitive driving experiences for all levels, providing a fantastic showcase for Morgan performance, engineering and enthusiasm.

Why not come along to an event and experience the excitement for yourself?
