MSCC 75th - Supersport 400

As the Morgan Sports Car Club celebrates 75 years, Morgan Motor Company continues to look firmly towards the future with the announcement of the new Morgan Supersport 400 on 23rd April 2026.

The Supersport 400 is now the most powerful production Morgan ever built, producing more than 400 bhp for the first time in the company’s history. Powered by a BMW-sourced 3.0-litre turbocharged six-cylinder engine delivering 402 bhp, the lightweight hand-built sports car can accelerate from 0–62 mph in just 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 180 mph.

Despite the impressive performance figures, the Supersport 400 remains true to Morgan’s core philosophy of lightweight engineering, craftsmanship, and driver engagement. Weighing just 1,170 kg and built using Morgan’s latest CXV aluminium platform, it combines modern engineering with the unmistakable styling and character that define the marque.

The Supersport 400 also highlights how Morgan continues to blend heritage with innovation. While the technology and performance have evolved dramatically over the decades, the car still retains many of the qualities enthusiasts love most about Morgan: individuality, analogue driving feel, and hand-built craftsmanship from Malvern.
