75 Years of MSCC – The Club Directors
As we celebrate 75 years of the Morgan Sports Car Club, it's worth reflecting on the people who have helped guide the Club throughout its history.
Since the Club was founded in 1951, a remarkable 81 volunteer Directors have served on the Board, giving their time, expertise and enthusiasm to help shape the MSCC into the thriving organisation it is today.
From overseeing finances and governance to organising events, supporting Centres, managing communications, developing member services and safeguarding the Club's future, generations of Directors have worked behind the scenes to ensure that members continue to enjoy everything the MSCC has to offer.
Today, the Club is led by a team of seven volunteer Directors, each bringing their own skills, experience and passion for Morgan ownership to the role. Together they oversee the day-to-day running of the Club and help steer its future direction while preserving the values and traditions that have made the MSCC such a special organisation.
As part of this year's AGM, we will also see some changes to the Board. We thank Roger Coverley for his many years of dedicated service as Treasurer and wish him a long, happy and well-deserved retirement. We also thank Martin Rickerd for his significant contribution to the Club, including his time as Chairman, Vice Chairman and Director.
The Morgan Sports Car Club has always been powered by volunteers, and the Board is just one example of the countless members who have contributed their time and expertise over the last 75 years. Their commitment has helped ensure that the Club continues to thrive for current and future generations of Morganeers.
