75 Years of MSCC – The Supersport
As we conclude our series celebrating Morgan models throughout the Club's 75-year history, it seems only fitting to finish with the latest chapter in the Morgan story: the Supersport.
Launched in 2025 as Morgan's new flagship model, the Supersport represents the next evolution of the marque. While unmistakably a Morgan, it combines over a century of craftsmanship and heritage with modern engineering, performance and refinement.
Built on Morgan's advanced CXV aluminium platform and powered by BMW's turbocharged six-cylinder engine, the lightweight Supersport delivers thrilling performance, accelerating from 0-60 mph in just 3.9 seconds while retaining the engaging driving experience that Morgan owners have always cherished.
The Supersport's design takes inspiration from Morgan's rich past while looking firmly to the future. Handcrafted aluminium bodywork, a choice of hardtop or mohair roof, and carefully considered modern touches ensure it remains instantly recognisable as a Morgan.
Perhaps more importantly, the Supersport demonstrates that Morgan continues to evolve whilst staying true to the values that have made the company unique for more than 115 years: lightweight engineering, driver engagement and individual craftsmanship.
As the Morgan Sports Car Club celebrates its 75th anniversary, the Supersport reminds us that the story is far from over. It is a car that honours the past while looking confidently towards the future.
