Mogfest ‘23....that's a wrap

The club’s main annual event, supported by Morgan Motor Company, took place between the 30th of June and 2nd of July at Brooklands and Old Windsor.

Here's what happened over the weekend...we look forward to seeing you next year!

Friday 30 June The weekend started with the Thames River Cruise. BBQ, commentary and entertainment from the Daisy Belles recapturing the authentic sounds of the Andrews Sisters.

Saturday 1 July Mogfest at Brooklands – the birthplace of British motorsport with a wide range of motoring and aviation exhibits across the museum. The London Bus Museum is also on-site and was included in admission. The full programme of activities included Autosolo and Concours competitions plus Trade Stands and special displays by Morgan Historic Register, Brooklands Register, Le Mans Register and Morgan Three Wheeler Club. Members were also able to tap into the knowledge of the club’s technical advisors at the Tech Help Point.

Members attending the event on Saturday also had the opportunity to register in advance for Morgan Experience Drives in Plus Four or Super 3 models and also drive the historic Test Hill.

In the evening the De Vere Beaumont Estate, set in 42 acres of parkland within Old Windsor was the setting for the Annual Dinner with Guest Speaker Simon Evans – one of the UK’s most respected comedians and familiar from TV, radio, live tour shows and festival appearances.

Sunday 2 July Scenic Drive from Old Windsor to Nuffield Place near Henley-on-Thames, the art deco home of Lord Nuffield – founder of Morris Motor Company and one of the most prolific philanthropists of the 20th century.
