Morgans were well in attendance at the Donington Historic weekend on the Saturday and Sunday of the early May Bank Holiday.
The weather was reasonably kind with glorious sunshine on the Saturday and cloudy on the Sunday. There was some tremendous action on track over the two days with cars dating from the 1920s through to the 1990s. The cars on track were driven very enthusiastically providing a great spectacle for the fans. The open paddock and the opportunity to drive the track in parade laps added to the experience. MSCC had better than usual infield parking this year as we were elevated on the grass rather than on the gravel by the Roberts chicane. We were within a few feet of the track and could spectate and socialise whilst sitting in or by our cars. For pre-booked club members this was fantastic value at £20 for the weekend including infield parking. On the Saturday we had a flyover by a Spitfire and a Hurricane on the Sunday to add to the entertainment.
