Mogfest 2022: Bookings are open now
10th January 2022The club’s main annual event will take place in County Durham on the 24th – 26th June and bookings are now open.
The Welcome Supper at the Raddison Blu riverside hotel in Durham, the weekend event base, will provide an ideal opportunity to meet old and new friends in an informal atmosphere. On Saturday we step back in time at Beamish, the world famous open air museum, telling the story of life in North East England during the 1820s, 1900s, 1940s and 1950s. The site will also be the venue for the Concours and Historic Register display. In the evening the day’s programme will conclude with the Annual Dinner and entertainment back at the city centre hotel.
One of the options available on Sunday is a scenic drive to Barnard Castle with a guided tour of the unique Bowes Museum. This collection of art, fashion and design is displayed over three floors of the magnificent French styled building set in its own park and gardens. The 18th century silver swan automation being one of the most loved objects and currently the subject of a major restoration programme.
